Privacy Policy

reschedule.cc ("we", "the app") is an AI assistant that manages your Google Calendar on your behalf using natural-language requests. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.

With your permission (granted during Google sign-in), we access your Google Calendar to read events, check availability, and create, update, or delete events you ask us to manage. We only take calendar actions you've asked for or explicitly confirmed — every change is staged for your review before anything is written to your calendar.

We store the messages you send in chat, along with preferences you set (work hours, timezone, default calendar), and "memory facts" the assistant learns about your routines (e.g. recurring obligations or habits you've mentioned) so it can personalize future scheduling. We also keep a log of calendar operations performed through the app, so changes can be reviewed or traced back if something goes wrong.

Your chat messages and relevant calendar context are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to interpret your requests and generate the calendar actions and replies you see. Anthropic processes this data to return a response; see Anthropic's privacy policy for how they handle it.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising. Data is used solely to provide and improve the app's functionality for you.

Your preferences, memory facts, chat history, and operation logs are stored in a private database tied to your account. Your Google OAuth session is handled via an encrypted session cookie — we do not keep a separate stored copy of your Google access or refresh tokens.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active so the assistant can keep working the way you'd expect. To request deletion of your data, contact us at the email below and we'll remove it.

We share data only with the services required to run the app: Google (authentication and Calendar API access) and Anthropic (to power the AI assistant). We don't share your data with anyone else.

This app is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, children under 13.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and revise the "last updated" date above.
